Was ist das Deutschlandsemesterticket (Dt-Se-Ti)?

Ab dem Wintersemester 2024/2025 wurde das Deutschlandsemesterticket (Dt-Se-Ti) eingeführt! Das bedeutet, dass ab dem 1. Oktober 2024 nicht nur in Niedersachsen, sondern deutschlandweit alle Regionalzüge (z.B. RB, RE, S-Bahn) genutzt werden können. Zusätzlich stehen euch die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel (Busse, Straßenbahnen, U-Bahnen etc.) in den teilnehmenden Verkehrsverbünden zur Verfügung. Fernzüge (ICE, IC, EC, Flixtrain) sind davon jedoch ausgeschlossen. Studierende, die ihren Semesterbeitrag an der TU Braunschweig oder der LU Hannover zahlen, beachten bitte die entsprechenden Hinweise ihrer Hochschule.

Was gilt für das SoSe 25?

Da das neue Semester bald anfängt, fragt ihr euch bestimmt: Was passiert mit dem Deutschlandsemesterticket? Erst einmal nicht viel Neues. Für das SoSe 25 wird es das Deutschlandsemesterticket zu denselben Konditionen weiterhin geben. Im WiSe 2025/26 greift dann jedoch auch bei uns die Erhöhung, die es zuletzt von 49 Euro auf 58 Euro pro Monat gab (für das gesamte Semester kostet es 176,40 Euro im SoSe 2025 und ab dem WiSe 2025/26 dann 208,80 Euro).

Solltet ihr das Ticket bisher offline, also als Chipkarte, nutzen und es Schwierigkeiten geben, meldet euch bitte erneut über diese Website. 

Das aktuelle Semesterticket könnt ihr wieder auf der folgenden Website  abrufen: Ride-Ticketing. Meldet euch dort mit eurer HBK-ID  an. Falls ihr bereits angemeldet sein solltet, ist es sinnvoll, euch nochmal abzumelden, um Fehler zu vermeiden. Auf der Website habt ihr auch die Option das Ticket im „wallet“ eures Smartphones zu speichern. Mit dieser App im Google Playstore könnt ihr das Ticket auslesen, falls ihr es testen möchtet.

Was bleibt unverändert?

  • Ihr müsst eure Studiausweise weiterhin validieren, da z. B. das Kulturticket darüber läuft.
  • Ihr könnt euch das Dt-Se-Ti erstatten lassen, falls ihr die Voraussetzungen erfüllt. Dies ist bis spätestens zwei Monate nach Beginn des jeweiligen Semesters möglich. Weitere Infos zur Erstattung findet ihr hier.
  • Das Ticket bleibt ein Solidarticket: Alle Studierenden zahlen, um stabile Preise zu gewährleisten, auch wenn nicht alle das Ticket gleichermaßen nutzen.

Was ist neu?

  • Euer Ticket ist ausschließlich digital verfügbar und kann offline auf eurem Smartphone gespeichert werden. Ab dem 1. Oktober 2024, 4:00 Uhr, könnt ihr euch über den folgenden Link für das Dt-Se-Ti registrieren: https://abo.ride-ticketing.de/app/login?partnerId=fe8c236979c8c5c542aba34e595f2812
  • Der Preis des Dt-Se-Ti beträgt 60 % des regulären Deutschlandtickets, aktuell also 29,40 € pro Monat. (Stand Oktober 2024)

Studierende ohne Smartphone können eine kostenlose Chipkarte erhalten. Es stehen vorerst 7 Karten zur Verfügung, für jede weitere wird eine Gebühr von 2€ erhoben. Die Chip-Karten können bei uns bestellt werden. Bitte meldet euren Bedarf rechtzeitig via asta@hbk-bs.de an. Voraussetzung ist eine unterschriebene Erklärung über das Fehlen eines Smartphones. Für die Übergangszeit wird eine Ersatzbescheinigung ausgestellt.

Was müsst ihr tun?

  • Kündigung des Deutschlandtickets: Falls ihr das reguläre Deutschlandticket bisher monatlich bezogen habt, vergesst nicht, es rechtzeitig zu kündigen, sofern dies nicht bereits automatisch geschehen ist.
  • Wenn du kein Smartphone hast schreib dem AStA eine Mail.

Gültigkeit und Ausblick

  • Das Deutschlandsemesterticket gilt zunächst für das Sommersemester 2025 und Wintersemester 25/26.
  • Die Fortführung des Tickets hängt von der weiteren Preisentwicklung, staatlichen Förderungen und anderen Faktoren ab. Wir werden euch rechtzeitig über mögliche Änderungen informieren.

The Germany Semester Ticket (Dt-Se-Ti) will be introduced from the 2024/2025 winter semester! This means that from 1st October 2024 you will not only be able to use all regional trains (e.g. RB, RE, S-Bahn) in Lower Saxony, but throughout Germany. You can also use public transport (buses, trams, underground trains, etc.) in the participating transport associations. However, long-distance trains (ICE, IC, EC, Flixtrain) are excluded. Students who pay their semester fees at TU Braunschweig or LU Hannover should refer to the relevant information provided by their university.

What applies to the SoSe 25?

As the new semester is about to begin, you might be wondering: What will happen with the Germany semester ticket? Initially, not much will change. For the summer semester (SoSe) 2025 and winter semester (WiSe) 2025/26, the Germany semester ticket will remain available under the same conditions. However, starting from WiSe 2025/26, the price increase from €49 to €58 per month will also apply to us (for the entire semester, it will cost €176.40 in SoSe 2025 and from WiSe 2025/26 onwards, €208.80).

If you have been using the ticket offline as a chip card until now and are experiencing difficulties, please log in again via this website: Ride-Ticketing using your hbk-id and download the QR code into your wallet. If you are already logged in it could help to logout again to minimise errors.On this website you also have the option to download this ticket in your “wallet” on your mobile phone (Iphone). This App from Google Playstore can also be used to read the ticket.

What remains unchanged?

You will still need to validate your student ID card, as it is used for the Kulturticket, for example.
You can have the Dt-Se-Ti refunded if you fulfil the requirements. This is possible up to two months after the start of the respective semester at the latest. You can find more information on refunds here.
The ticket remains a solidarity ticket: all students pay to ensure stable prices, even if not everyone uses the ticket equally.

What’s new?

  • Your ticket is only available digitally and can be saved offline on your smartphone. From October 1, 2024, 4:00 am, you can register for the Dt-Se-Ti via the following link: https://abo.ride-ticketing.de/app/login?partnerId=fe8c236979c8c5c542aba34e595f2812
  • The price of the Dt-Se-Ti is 60% of the regular Deutschlandticket, currently €29.40 per month (as of october 2024)
  • Students without a smartphone can receive a chip card. The chip cards can be ordered from us. Please register your need in good time via asta@hbk-bs.de. A signed declaration that you do not have a smartphone is required. A replacement certificate will be issued for the transitional period.

What do you have to do?

  • Cancellation of the Deutschlandticket: If you have previously purchased the regular Deutschlandticket on a monthly basis, if it wasn’t allready automatically.
  • Wait until there is more information on how to retrieve your tickets. More will follow shortly.
  • If you don’t have a smartphone, write an email to the AStA.

Outlook

  • The Deutschlandsemesterticket is initially valid for the summer semester 2025 and the winter semester 2025/26.
  • The continuation of the ticket depends on further price developments, state subsidies and other factors. We will inform you of any changes in good time.

Was ist das Deutschlandsemesterticket (Dt-Se-Ti)?
Das Deutschlandsemesterticket ersetzt ab dem 1. Oktober 2024 das bisherige Semesterticket. Es bietet ähnliche Vorteile wie das reguläre Deutschlandticket, jedoch zu vergünstigten Konditionen für Studierende.

Wie komme ich an mein Ticket?

Auf der nachfolgenden Seite findet ihr die Datenschutzerklärung und Informationen darüber, welche personenbezogenen Daten die HBK Braunschweig an RIDE/digital-h zur Nutzung des Dt-Se-Ti übermittelt. Um das Ticket nutzen zu können, müsst ihr der Datenübertragung zustimmen. Ohne eure Zustimmung kann das Dt-Se-Ti leider nicht genutzt werden, was jedoch keine Befreiung von der Zahlungspflicht bedeutet.

Muss ich meine Karte weiterhin validieren?
Ja, ihr müsst für z.B. das Kulturticket weiterhin eure HBK-Karte Validieren.

Kann ich eine Erstattung des Deutschlandsemestertickets erhalten?
Ja, ihr könnt euch das Ticket unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen (z.B. bei Beurlaubung) erstatten lassen. Dies ist bis spätestens 2 Monate nach Semesterbeginn möglich. Weitere Infos dazu findet ihr hier.

Was bedeutet „Solidarisches Ticket“?
Alle Studierenden zahlen für das Ticket, auch wenn nicht alle es gleichermaßen nutzen. Dies dient der Preisstabilität.

Welche Verkehrsmittel kann ich mit dem Dt-Se-Ti nutzen?

Gibt es eine Alternative für Studierende ohne Smartphone?
Ja, für Studierende ohne Smartphone gibt es eine begrenzte Anzahl von Chipkarten (derzeit sieben Stück), die ihr bei uns bestellen könnt. Meldet euch dafür bitte bei uns via asta@hbk-bs.de. Dafür muss eine Erklärung zum Fehlen eines Smartphones unterschrieben werden. Es gibt außerdem eine Ersatzbescheinigung zur Überbrückung.

Was muss ich tun, wenn ich bereits ein Deutschlandticket habe?
Kündigt euer bisheriges Deutschlandticket rechtzeitig, wenn ihr es monatlich bezieht und es nicht automatisch gekündigt wurde.

Was passiert, wenn ich das De-Si-Ticket erstatten lasse?
Wenn ihr euch das Ticket erstatten lasst, verfällt dessen Gültigkeit sofort, auch wenn es offline gespeichert wurde.

Wie lange gilt das Dt-Se-Ti?
Das Deutschlandsemesterticket gilt zunächst nur für das Sommersemester 2025 und das Wintersemester 25/26 . Es wird anschließend in Abhängigkeit von der Preis- und Förderentwicklung weiter geprüft.

What is the Deutschlandsemesterticket (Dt-Se-Ti)?
The Deutschlandsemesterticket replaces the Semesterticket that was used before the 1st October 2024. It offers similar benefits as the regular Deutschlandticket, but with discounted conditions for students.

How do I get my ticket?
 From the 1st Oktober 2024, 4:00 Uhr, you can register yourself for the Dt-Se-Ti through the following Link: https://abo.ride-ticketing.de/app/login?partnerId=fe8c236979c8c5c542aba34e595f2812.

For authentication use your HBK id-number (z. B. id123456) and your password. On the following page you can find the privacy policy and information which personal data the HBK sends to the RIDE/digital-h for use of the Deutschlandticket. To use the ticket you need to agree to the data transmission. Without your consent the Dt-Se-Ti cannot be used, this doesnt mean that you are exempt from the obligation to pay. After your consent you will be forwarded to the website of RIDE/digital-h, to receive your ticket. Do I still need to validate my Card?

Yes, for the Kulturticket and the Semesterticket you still need to validate your HBK-Card.

Kann I get a refund for the Deutschlandsemesterticket?
Yes, under certain conditions (e.g. Leave of absence) you can get a refund. This is possible, at the latest, two months after the start of the semester. More info you can find here: hier.

What means „Solidarity Ticket“?
All students pay for the ticket even if they do not use it equally. This is needed for a stable price.

Which means of transportation can I use with the Dt-Se-Ti?
Everywhere in Germany you can use all regional trains (RB, RE, S-Bahn) as well as the public transportations (busses, tram, underground,…) of the participating transport associations and companies. Excluded are long-distance trains (ICE,IC, EC, Flixtrain).

How much does the Dt-Se-Ti cost?
The monthly price is 60% of the regular Deutschlandticket, at the moment this is 29.40 Euro per month and is part of the semester fee. However, in the wintersemester 2025/26  the increase from 49 euros to 58 euros per month will also apply to us (for the entire semester it will cost 176.40 euros in the summer semester 2025 and then 208.80 euros from the winter semester 2025/26).

Is the ticket digital?
Yes, the Dt-Se-Ti is available only in digital form. It can be saved offline on your smartphone, if you agree with the data transfer.

Is there an alternative for students without smartphone?
Yes, for students without smartphone there is a limited contingency of chip cards. (At the moment seven cards.) You can order them from us. Get in touch with us via asta@hbk-bs.de. For this, a declaration of absence of a smartphone must be signed. To bridge the gap of waiting for the chip card, there is also a replacement certificate.

What do I need to do, if I already have a Deutschlandticket?
Cancel your existing Deutschlandticket in time if you are using it on a monthly basis and it has not been automatically canceled.

What happens if I refund the De-Si-Ticket?
If you have the ticket refunded, its validity expires immediately, even if it was saved offline.

How long is the Dt-Se-Ti for?
The Deutschlandsemesterticket is initially only valid for the summer semester 2025 and winter semester 25/26. It will then be reviewed further depending on price and funding developments.
